This is a major defeat for the U.S. History repeats itself. Americans were forced to flee Kabul just like they did in Vietnam. No lesson was learned. And just like the fall of Vietnam the people of Afghanistan will suffer greatly of it. Shameful

We were in Afghanistan for over 20 years. And thousands of Americans fought and died there. It is unacceptable that this country could be abandoned. And especially in the way it was.
